Drillitt Screws are manufactured with a minimum surface hardness of 560HV0.3

Core Hardness
Drillitt Screws are manufactured with a core hardness of between 240 and 425 HV10.

Plating
Drillitt Screws are batch tested to determine the quality of corrosion resistance by Salt Spray testing to DIN 5002155.
Drillitt Screws are plated using two processed:
1. Bright Zinc plated - minimum 8 microns
2. Organic Coating - 500 hours minimum protection.

Mechanical Performance

The figures quoted are ultimate statistics independently tested in laboratory conditions. Variations may occur with different steel grades and fixing positions. There is no allowance for any safety factor.
